How to Replace the Fuses in a Toyota Camry
A blown fuse is a common issue with cars. If you own a Toyota Camry, whether it is the original 1983 model or a new one, you can replace a blown fuse yourself. The process is the same no matter the year or style, such as SE, LE, DX or XLE, although the fuses may be housed in different slots.

Turn your Camry off before you exchange a blown fuse for a working one. Open the coin tray on the left side of the passenger's side dashboard to locate the fuse box.
- 2
Open the fuse box to reveal the fuses. Read the inside of the cover to find the location of the fuse you need to replace.
- 3
Remove the fuse using your thumb and index finger. See that the wire inside is burned out and needs replaced.
- 4
Push a new fuse of the same rating into place securely. For instance, a 2000 Toyota Camry uses a 10-amp mini fuse for the dash board lights.
- 5
Shut the fuse box and check the fuse is working properly once you restart the Camry.
